My Photo Journal
In the following pages I have documented some of my travels and photos from my diving days in the 1990's in Monterey, California and a number of far-off destinations in the South Pacific. In 1993 I opened a business, PacStaR Charters, taking scuba divers to the waters off Monterey and Carmel aboard my 65-foot custom-built charter boat, the Pacific Star. I closed the business in 1998 but only after doing a series of spectacularly successful two-day trips to the Farallones Islands, 30 miles west of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge in July and August of that year. Divers still talk about those trips as some of the best diving ever in Northern California.
Following the dive business closure I moved to Oregon for three years, and now I'm exploring the Puget Sound area in another boat, NOT for charter, Anam Cara. More about her in a subsequent page.
The pages below each are chapters in my diving career, in California and in some of the most exotic and beautiful dive destinations in the world.
